Generate meaningful sample files for testing
Test your upload forms, importers, data pipelines and document previews with properly structured files. Choose student records, product inventory or sales orders. Sample email addresses use example.com, and all records are synthetic.
How to generate and download a file
- Choose your format and a content preset.
- Set the content count or an exact file size for a supported format.
- Review the sample records, then select Generate.

Are my files uploaded to a server?
Generation runs locally in a browser worker. The generator does not upload your generated content or require an account. Keep this page open until generation finishes. Cancel stops the worker.
Why use a seed?
The same seed and settings reproduce the same synthetic dataset, making bugs easier to investigate. Batch files use separate seeds so their records differ. Image encoding may differ between browsers.
File size and device limits
The limit is 50 MiB for a single file or the combined batch, with up to five files at a time. Available memory can impose a lower practical limit on phones. Compressed images, XLSX files and ZIP archives use content-based sizing. Unsupported image encoders produce a clear error.
