What is MCQ Generator?
MCQ Generator creates multiple-choice practice from your notes or a topic. Without AI it finds definitions such as “Stack is a linear data structure…” in your notes and turns each into a question with four options. With AI it writes four-option questions with explanations. You can answer on the page and see your score, or download a paper with and without answers.

Tips
Get better results
- The offline version needs at least four definitions in your notes to build distractors. Add more lines if it asks.
- Wrong options come from other terms in your notes, so the quiz is only as good as the notes.
- Check AI-written questions for ambiguity before using them for a group.

Frequently asked questions
Does it use AI?
There is an offline version that always works, built from templates and rules. The “Write with AI” button is optional; it sends only what you typed to an AI service and returns a draft for you to check. If AI is unavailable, the offline version stays as it is.
Why did it make fewer questions than I asked?
Offline, it makes one question per definition it finds in your notes. Add more notes for more questions.
Are my answers stored?
No. Scores exist only while the page is open.
Is this suitable for exams I am setting?
It is meant for practice. Review every question before using it for anything graded.
