Upload the DOCX
Choose your Word file. Only .docx files are accepted, so save older .doc files as .docx first.
Convert a Word document to PDF with the production Office processor.
DOCX to PDF converts a Word document into a PDF so the layout stays fixed when you send it or upload it. Most college portals and faculty prefer PDF because fonts, margins and page breaks cannot shift on someone else's computer. Conversion is done on our servers by an Office-compatible processor.
Choose your Word file. Only .docx files are accepted, so save older .doc files as .docx first.
Press convert and wait while the document is processed. Longer files take a little more time.
Save the converted file once it is ready.
Skim the PDF for page breaks, tables and images. If anything moved, adjust the Word file and convert again.
If the converter does not have one of your fonts, it substitutes a similar one and text can flow differently. Switching to a common font in Word usually fixes it.
Files are processed on our servers and deleted automatically within 2 to 3 hours. See the Privacy Policy.
Only .docx is supported. Open an older .doc file in Word and save it as .docx first.
The output is a regular PDF of the document content. Review comments and macros are not part of it.
